What is Korean Hand Massage?
This ancient healing modality is based upon the theory that specific areas and points on each of your hands correspond to specific areas and organs of your body. Korean Hand Massage works on every joint in the hand, each representing a corresponding joint in the body. The therapy is an especially good treatment for muscular-skeletal problems and it may help in the treatment of conditions such as Repetitive Strain Injury in particular by reducing stiffness and increases flexibility. It also helps to Improve the skin condition of the hands and generally helps to balance the energies within the body in order to support the body’s natural ability to self heal.
Korean Hand Massage is wonderfully relaxing to give and receive, adding another tool to your holistic tool kit!
Please note that Korean Hand Massage is NOT simply a hand massage and is entirely different to hand reflexology. It is particularly useful as an additional treatment to offer alongside manicure for beauty therapists, as well as complementary therapists looking for portable treatments where removal of clothing is not appropriate / possible. It also makes a great treatment to offer to the elderly in a care home environment. It combines perfectly with other therapies such as Indian Head, Reiki, Massage, Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candles and other Beauty Treatments too.
